    ANZAC Day in Dayboro

We will remember them, lest we forget. As the Ode of Remembrance reminds us, it’s important to pass on the message of ANZAC day to our children. As our son gets older we will teach him the significance of the day and its traditions. One day he may wear his Father’s medals and be proud of what they stand for. The Workshops Rail Museum

I must admit I didn’t expect too much from a museum about trains but we had heard good things about The Workshops Rail Museum. Paradise Country offers a Farmstay experience and includes various camping and glamping options. We were keen to take little man on his first camping trip.  The beauty of Paradise Country is

    Oaks Oasis Caloundra

We loved Caloundra so much we visited twice in almost as many months. In December we stayed at Kings Beach with little man’s big brothers to celebrate their 18th birthday and high school graduation. When we returned it was just with our youngest and we were all about the playgrounds and water parks. Oaks Oasis seemed like the obvious choice! Accommodation at Oaks Oasis Oaks Oasis offers apartment options for families of various sizes. For our short getaway, we booked a one bedroom executive apartment. Travelling with a toddler rules out studio rooms as viable accommodation if you want to stay up past their 6 pm bedtime. This apartment fit…
